YSFON Congratulates Pastor Peter Akpe on His Swearing-In as Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.
The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) has congratulated Pastor Peter Akpe, PhD, on his swearing-in as the substantive Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State.
In a statement signed by its National Vice President (South-South), Mr. Kali Gwegwe, the foremost youth sports organisation stated that Pastor Peter Akpe’s choice was divine and urged Bayelsans to support him.
According to Mr. Gwegwe, Pastor Peter Akpe is a God-fearing and multi-faceted individual. His intelligence, strength and experience gained over the last two decades make him suitable for the position. Additionally, he is a team player, known for his loyalty to good causes.
Coming from a rich background in sports administration, Mr. Gwegwe said the sector would experience accelerated growth and greater attention. While praying for a good working relationship with sports NGOs, Mr. Gwegwe pledged the continued collaboration of YSFON with the state government in the areas of youth capacity development and empowerment through sports.
