Again, Tarabina tasks contractors on job completion, specification
As part of efforts in ensuring that projects are executed in line with required standards and specifications, the chairman of the directorate for project monitoring and evaluation, Engr. Ebiye Tarabina, inspected ongoing projects in the state.
Projects inspected includes : the judges quarters, the ongoing Yenagoa /Oporoma road, the Glory drive to Government house project, others are the Imiringi road, the Agudama Law School road, the 2nd phase of the Igbogene/AIT outer ring road project and the AIT/Imiringi access road.
The chairman lauded the contractors handling the projects for the quality and level of work achieved on the projects, however urged the contractors to increase the pace of work for the timely completion of the projects.
He said the directorate will continue to insist on quality and standards, stressing that the projects are significant for the present and future development of the state.
The project monitoring boss reiterated the Governor Douye Diri’s administration determination to do everything within its power to ensure the delivery of quality projects that will stand the test of time.
He called on the people of the state to always give their unalloyed support and cooperation to the prosperity administration for the rapid transformation and development of the state.
The project manager of Luberik construction company, Engr. Ralph who is handling the Igbogene /AIT outer ring road project now the 2nd phase said with the determination of the present administration on infrastructural development, the projects will be completed on record time.
The chairman was accompanied by the secretary, Engr. Sampson Igodo, members of the board, heads of department, engineers and amongst others.
