The 2026 Faith and Grace Conference of Brook Church, which also marked the church’s 10th anniversary, attracted a large congregation as members and guests gathered to celebrate what they described as God’s faithfulness, dedication and commitment to the work of the ministry.
The conference featured vibrant worship and praise, with the Brook Church choristers captivating the congregation with their melodious voices and energetic dance steps. The congregation joined the worship session enthusiastically, creating an atmosphere of deep spiritual engagement.
The event was attended by traditional rulers, captains of industry, business leaders, politicians, church members and other guests.
Speaking during the conference, the founder of Brook Church, Pastor Ose Imiemohon, preached on the topic, “Empowerment Through the Covenant.” He drew his message from Genesis 1:28, explaining that the covenant gives empowerment to covenant partners.
According to him, empowerment provides confidence, authority, resources and skills, citing Daniel 9:22 to buttress his message.
Pastor Imiemohon further described divine blessing as a form of empowerment, particularly the empowerment needed to overcome difficult and seemingly impossible situations in life.
He urged the congregation to remain committed to God and to understand that the blessings of God come with the power and grace to overcome obstacles, citing Proverbs 10:22.
Also speaking, the Resident Pastor of Brook Church, Pastor Uche Agua, thanked God for the successful conference and 10th anniversary celebration.
Agua said members had benefited immensely from the programme, adding that the message delivered by the founder had touched lives and would encourage members to put the teachings into practice as genuine Christians.
He said the development had further demonstrated that Brook Church was committed to teaching and preaching the true sound, morals and principles of the gospel.
According to him, the ministry does not teach abstract principles but uses practical teachings and illustrations to ensure that members understand and apply the word of God in their daily lives.
He explained that the vision of the church was to raise people who would serve as good examples by demonstrating the character and values of the early Christians.
The resident pastor urged members to remain committed to the vision of the church despite challenges, saying the ministry would continue its efforts to win souls for God.
He also commended members for their passion and large turnout during the conference, urging them to sustain the spirit and commitment demonstrated during the programme so that others could be inspired to emulate them.
