NCDMB Pictorials : Meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun
The Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, Engr. Prof. Akpofure Rim-Rukeh was earlier today in a meeting with the Executive Secretary, NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Wabote (FNSE, FIPS) in the Nigerian Content Tower, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The main purpose of the meeting was to seek for the sponsorship of a Corrosion and a Research Centre in FUPRE, more collaborations and continued synergy between the Board and FUPRE.Prof. Akpofure after shedding light on the establishment of FUPRE; a specialized university to produce unique high level manpower & relevant expertise for the Oil & Gas sector in Nigeria & beyond thanked the Board for the meeting & congratulated the ES for the achievements so far The ES, Engr. Simbi Wabote in his remark applauded the leadership of the University and challenged FUPRE to key into the NCDMB’s R&D fund.
“The NCDMB team will look into all your (FUPRE) demands with an ‘end-to-end’ viability approach and feedback will be given. He assured FUPRE of a close and healthy working relationship between the Board and FUPRE.
