Azibaola Robert pays surprised visit to alma mater in Port Harcourt
As part of his philanthropy and connecting with his roots, Azibaola Robert, FNSE, together with his family and friends, visited his alma mater, Baptist Day Primary School, Port Harcourt, on Friday, 8th July 2022.
Robert said: “I attended Baptist Day Primary School, Port Harcourt. I was a pupil here in the late 80s. It is nostalgic the time I spent here.
“I’m visiting today to reconnect with my academic roots – where part of my childhood journey began. I brought with me my children so they will know their father’s educational roots; where it all started.
“This School gave me a foundation upon which I’m building today. I’m here to motivate these kids, reassure them them that perseverance brings them bright future. I want them to believe in themselves, take their studies seriously, aim high, and God willing, they will succeed. No child is too dull to succeed; I have told them, none of them should have any reason to be left behind. Showing them a good example in myself is the best gift for this young generation. So, I’m also here to give back to my alma mater in recognition and appreciation of the value it added to my life.”
Robert visited the school with one of his children, YEPAYE ROBERT. She has this to say:
“Visiting Baptist Day Primary school alongside my dad was nostalgic. The energy from the pupils in the school was highly infectious, they were very happy and energetic to welcome us all warmly. I was astounded by their ability to find joy and contentment with the little they have. I will never forget the little time I spent with the kids, the memories have a permanent place in my heart.”
