Bayelsa Blogger Deny Complicity In Death Of Boy Over Verbal Exchange On Social Media

A Bayelsa-based media consultant, blogger, and traditional practitioner (Woyin spiritualist), Apostle Bodmas Kemepadei has denied complicity in the death of a young boy in the Amassoma community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of the State.

Findings showed that following the death threat made by the deceased on his life and that of his family members, Apostle Kemepadei traced a young boy to the Amassoma community, effect a citizen arrest of the deceased and handed him to the Police following a verbal exchange on social media.

Investigations revealed that the during the hot exchange between the two bloggers, the deceased was reported to have threatened to shoot dead Kemepadei and his family members with AK 47 to test the potency of the traditional worship.

But Apostle Bodmas Kemepadei, while reacting to the viral claims against him, told newsmen that he only effected a citizen arrest against the deceased and handed him over to police over the alleged threat to life.

According to source which pleaded anonymity, the police, during cross examining discovered the deceased was talking like someone experiencing dementia due to heavy intake of drugs and the police directed that he be taking to Police Clinic for medical observation and later released to his family.
