Bayelsa Project Monitoring Team Inspects Polaku–Sabagreia Road, Expresses Satisfaction with Progress
The Chairman, Directorate for Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Bayelsa State, Hon. Engr. Ebiye Tarabina, has led his team on an inspection of the ongoing Polaku–Sabagreia Road and Bridge Project.
At the time of the inspection, asphalt laying was actively ongoing from the Sabagreia axis toward the Polaku end of the bridge.
The Chairman expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work, commending Zerok Constructions for the level of progress recorded so far on the project.
During the visit, the inspection team also held a technical session with the Stadium Construction Company. Hon. Engr. Tarabina urged the company to ensure strict adherence to approved standards and specifications, while stressing the importance of meeting the stipulated 24-month completion timeline.
Members of the inspection team included Engr. Igodo Sampson, Secretary of the Directorate, Board Directors, Engineers, and other relevant staff.
The Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to regular monitoring of projects across the state to ensure quality delivery and value for public funds.
