MOSIEND Hails Ezeobi’s Doctorate, Book Launch
The Movement for the Survival of the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta (MOSIEND) has congratulated Dr. Obinna Ezeobi, General Manager, Corporate Communications at the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), on the attainment of his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) and the launch of his new book.
MOSIEND described Ezeobi’s academic feat as a landmark achievement that reflects his commitment to intellectual excellence and national development.
In a statement signed by its President, Amb. Dr. Kennedy Tonjo West, MOSIEND said the doctoral convocation stood as a testament to Ezeobi’s perseverance and dedication to knowledge, qualities the group identified as critical to the progress of the Ijaw nation and the wider Niger Delta.
The group also applauded the official presentation of Ezeobi’s book titled “Nigeria’s Local Content: A Journey of Strategic Communication and Economic Transformation.”
According to the statement, the book offers a timely and authoritative perspective on the evolution of Nigeria’s local content policy, while emphasizing the role of strategic communication in empowering communities, boosting indigenous participation, and driving sustainable development in resource-rich but historically marginalized regions.
MOSIEND added that Ezeobi, as a prominent son of the region and a professional voice in the advancement of local content ideals, continues to inspire a new generation of Ijaw and Niger Delta professionals.
The group called on policymakers, scholars and stakeholders to engage with the publication and support initiatives that would strengthen indigenous capacity across all sectors.
