The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has alerted members of the public to a fraudulent website being circulated on social media and other online platforms, warning that it is being falsely presented as the Board’s official portal for training registration.

In a public disclaimer issued by its management, the NCDMB categorically stated that the website is neither owned, operated, authorized nor endorsed by the Board.

The agency urged Nigerians to avoid registering on the fake platform or submitting any personal, financial or sensitive information through it, warning that doing so could expose users to fraud and data compromise.

The Board reiterated that the only official portal for all its training programmes and capacity development initiatives is https://nogicjqs.gov.ng.
NCDMB also emphasized that all its services, including registration for training programmes, are provided free of charge.

According to the Board, it does not and will never demand payment for any of its services, urging members of the public to be wary of anyone requesting money in connection with its training opportunities.

The management further stated that it would not be liable for any loss, damage or compromise of personal data arising from the use of unauthorized or fraudulent platforms.

The Board disclosed that it is working closely with relevant security and regulatory agencies to investigate the fraudulent website and ensure it is shut down.

It reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the public and maintaining transparency and credibility in the implementation of its capacity-building programmes aimed at
promoting Nigerian Content development.
NCDMB advised anyone seeking to verify information or report suspicious activities to contact the Board through its official email, info@ncdmb.gov.ng, or visit its website at www.ncdmb.gov.ng.
