The Vice-Chancellor of the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Amassoma, Bayelsa State, Prof.
Allen A. Agih has commended the President of the Orubiri Foundation, Mr Diongudogiyo Anthony Bokolo for donating textbooks and other learning materials to the Geology Departm of the institution.
In a letter dated 26th June, 2025 and signed by the Acting Head of the Department of Geology, Dr A. A Aderogba the University applauded the Orubiri Foundation for the huge donation of textbooks for learning.
The letter read in part: “I write to appreciate and applaud your foundation for the kind gesture bestowed on our Department for your free donation of textbook for use and learning of both staff and students.”
The University described the books donated as uncommon gift, saying that the gesture will boost learning in the department, noting that such donations were required to improve the quality of graduates in the institution.
President of the foundation who is a graduate of Geology from the University of Port-Harcourt also made similar donation to the Federal University, Otuoke.
