Notice Of Commencement Of Mop-Up Distribution Of Debit Cards To Hope-Ct Beneficiaries In Bayelsa State
The Household Prosperity and Empowerment – Cash Transfer (HOPE-CT) Programme, powered by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction in collaboration with the Bayelsa State Cash Transfer Unit, wishes to inform the Public that, the distribution of debit cards to beneficiaries which was temporarily suspended is to enable the team re-strategize to serve them better.
Be reminded that, some debit cards which were previously unclaimed during the last distribution cycle in 2025, and sent back to Abuja have been returned for distribution.
This category of beneficiaries whose debit cards are returned from Abuja are advised to come with their NIN Slips or Cards as well as their BVN written on a piece of paper for ease of identification.
In furtherance of the above, a mop-up debit card distribution exercise has been scheduled for both categories of beneficiaries from the (8) Eight Local Government Areas of the state, whose names are pasted at the Yenagoa Local Government Council notice board.
Beneficiaries for the current payment cycle – 2026, are to come with only NIN Slips or Cards for the purpose of identification.
The schedule for commencement of distribution of debit cards which will last for 3 days is as follows:

*Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily*
*Venue: Yenagoa Local Government Council Hall*
