NSE Yenagoa Branch Elects New Executives, Engr. Jokori Emerges Chairman
The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Yenagoa Branch, has elected new executives to pilot the affairs of the body for the next two years.


At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Tuesday, members unanimously elected Engr. Eluanatein Jokori as the new Chairman of the branch.
The election, which drew wide participation from professional engineers across Bayelsa State, was described as peaceful, transparent, and a reflection of the unity within the branch.
Engr. Jokori, in his acceptance speech, expressed appreciation to members for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to reposition the Yenagoa Branch for greater professional impact. He assured that his administration would focus on mentorship, continuous professional development, and active collaboration with government and industry stakeholders to enhance engineering practice in the state.
Other elected executives also promised to work collectively to uphold the values and standards of the NSE while advancing the welfare of members.
The AGM ended with renewed optimism that the new leadership would strengthen the Yenagoa Branch as a formidable force within the engineering community in Nigeria.
