The National Chairman and Convener of the Renewed Hope Agenda Transformation Welfare Forum (RHATWF), Hon. Sam Atasia Oburu, has reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of democracy, good governance, and national development, expressing confidence that Nigeria will overcome its current challenges and achieve lasting prosperity.

In a statement on Sunday, Oburu said Nigeria remains a nation blessed with resilient people, rich cultural diversity, and an enduring spirit capable of overcoming economic and social difficulties.

He noted that despite challenges, the country’s democratic journey has continued to progress through peaceful transitions, civic participation, and increased public engagement in governance.

According to him, the Renewed Hope Agenda represents more than a political slogan, describing it as a commitment to accountability, national rebirth, and tangible progress that will positively impact the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

Oburu called on institutions of governance, including the legislature, judiciary, security agencies, and civil service, to uphold justice, strengthen democracy, and serve citizens with integrity and fairness.

Addressing Nigerian youths, he urged them not to lose faith in the country but to channel their energy, creativity, and innovation towards nation-building and economic growth.

He also commended farmers, traders, entrepreneurs, artisans, professionals, and workers for their contributions to national development, assuring them that ongoing reforms under the Renewed Hope vision are aimed at creating a more conducive environment for productivity and prosperity.

The RHATWF chairman acknowledged the country’s challenges, including economic hardship, insecurity, unemployment, and infrastructural deficits, but maintained that sustained reforms and unity of purpose would help overcome them.

He emphasized the importance of strengthening security institutions while addressing the root causes of unrest through education, inclusion, and economic opportunities.

Oburu further advocated for greater grassroots development, stressing that empowering local governance structures would improve the delivery of education, healthcare, infrastructure, and other essential services.

He called on Nigerians to reject division and embrace unity, innovation, and discipline in the collective effort to build a more prosperous nation.

“The Renewed Hope vision is a promise that Nigeria will rise again stronger, more united, and more prosperous. Together, we will rebuild trust in governance, restore dignity to work, and create a future where every Nigerian can dream and achieve without limitation,” he stated.

He expressed optimism that with sincerity, commitment, and collective responsibility, Nigeria would attain sustainable development and greater national cohesion.
