A transparency group, Wealth and Development Creation Group (WADCG) has commended the Judiciary for its position on the alleged case of cyber bullying and defamation of character against the group President of Azikel group, Dr. Eruani Azibapu Godbless, CFR by Kariya Daukoru.
The group Leader, David Adolphus, Jnr.,in a reaction to the ruling of the court remanding KARIYAI DAUKORU on Monday in Kuje Correctional Center, Abuja, Over Defamation of Character, Cyber Bullying Against Dr. Eruani Azibapu Godbless, CFR.
The group, Wealth And Development Creation Group, in a statement issued on Monday, stated that the case followed a petition filed by the Azikel Group CEO, Dr. Eruani Azibapu over the unruly behavior displayed by Kariyai Daukoru in dragging his personality to social media platforms, thereby causing him disrepute, emotional and psychological trauma and that of his family, as result of the action.
According to the group, “Meanwhile, there are so many lessons to be learned in the case of Daukoru vs Eruani and Azikel group. In this first place, Mr. Kariyai Daukoru was the one who initiated the court proceedings against Dr. Eruani and Azikel group, and he is demanding one billion naira damages.”
“The said civil case is ongoing, the same person who has gone to court to seek for justice, now thought it wise with the advise of his followers brought the same matter that’s before a competent court of law to the SOCIAL MEDIA to seek for public opinion and validation, and was bullying and calling Dr. Eruani and Azikel group all sorts of unprintable names, thereby defaming the hard earned character and integrity of the person of Dr. Eruani”
“And that singular post of his and many more posts within the social media space has dragged the character of the Group president, Azikel group, Dr. Eruani Azibapu, CFR, into disrepute and questioning, in which case Mr Kariyai Daukoru is trying to be a judge in his own case and people are busy hailing him.”
Reacting to the development, the President of Wealth and Development Creation Group (WADCG), Comrade David Adolphus Jnr described the arrest and subsequent detention of Kariyai Daukoru as a welcome development, while advising him to face his civil case to a logical conclusion.
Adolphus noted that when Kariyai is done with his civil case against Dr Eruani Azibapu and Azikel group, he should also be ready to face the criminal case been instituted by Dr. Eruani Azibapu, CFR, and Azikel group, concerning the cyber bullying and name calling against the person of Eruani.
“No right thinking global business man who has invested over a billion dollars would sit down and watch his name been rubbish by a man he was trying to help.” We pray he comes out strong or learn his lessons”.
