A political aspirant, Hon. Embeleakpo Prosper Alale, has formally declared his intention to contest for the Sagbama Constituency 3 seat in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly in the 2027 general elections.

Hon. Alale, who made his declaration after what he described as extensive consultations, said his decision followed months of engagement with critical stakeholders, including community leaders, youth groups, and women associations across Sagbama Local Government Area.

According to him, the move is driven by a collective desire to ensure effective, responsive, and people-oriented representation for the constituency.

The aspirant noted that, in line with the principle that “charity begins at home,” he commenced his consultations within his immediate community of Agbere, where he visited the Eyewari, Egbonwei, and Donpre families (pelei). He disclosed that the visits were marked by prayers and blessings, which he said have strengthened his resolve to serve.

Hon. Alale further revealed that plans are underway to embark on a comprehensive tour of the constituency in the coming weeks. He explained that the tour would provide an opportunity to engage more closely with residents and galvanize grassroots support for his ambition.

He called on the people of Sagbama Constituency 3 to support his aspiration, emphasizing the need for unity, collective effort, and shared vision in achieving sustainable development for the area.

“I humbly seek the support, prayers, and partnership of every son and daughter of Sagbama Constituency 3 as we work together to achieve this vision,” he stated.

The 2027 general elections are expected to witness heightened political activities across Bayelsa State as aspirants begin to position themselves for various elective offices.
