Lokpobiri Commiserates With APC National Chairman Over Mother’s Demise

Abuja – The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, has extended his condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, following the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.

A statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Communication to the Minister Nneamaka Okafor noted that during a condolence visit, Senator Lokpobiri described the late Mama Lydia as a devout woman of faith who lived a life dedicated to the service of God and humanity. He noted that her active involvement in church activities and community development left a lasting impact on those around her.

“On behalf of my family and the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Prof. Yilwatda and the entire Yilwatda family. May Mama Lydia’s legacy of faith and service continue to inspire all who knew her,” Lokpobiri stated.

The Minister prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased and asked God to grant the Yilwatda family the strength to bear the loss.
